PYTHION won on debut over the mile for trainer Ger Lyons, and Colin Keane, claiming victory in a dead heat with Howling Ridge.

At Vichy in France, GLORIOUS SPIRIT (FR) won the Prix d'Agonges (Class 1) over 1400m for S Culin and jockey Mickael Forest. This was the second win, and back to back for this two-year-old colt. Bred by the Ferrand family, GLORIOUS SPIRIT is out of the Muhtathir mare Allegro Vivace.

Another two-year-old winner was MOTASHAKEL (IRE) who was victorious at Leopardstown over 7f, Ireland for trainer Kevin Predergast and Chris Hayes. Second on his previous start, MOTASHAKEL claimed a gutsy victory on the line. Bred by Team Hogdala, MOTASHAKEL is out of the Beat Hollow mare River Test.

Finally, DREAM OF GLORY (FR) was a debut winner at Madrid's La Zarzuela racecourse, landing the Premio Sur over 5.5f in Spain for trainer A Soto Loring. Bred by Mr & Mrs Cherdo, in Brittany, France, DREAM OF GLORY is out of the Manduro mare Danse Revee.
