Another big weekend for Toronado

September 3, 2019

TORONADO is having a brilliant time with another six victories in 3 days, headed by his latest Stakes winner WASMYA (photo © M Ruhl), an Al Shaqab Racing homebred who landed her third consecutive win in the Listed Stadt Baden-Baden Cup LR in Germany. Trained by FH Graffard and ridden by JB Eyquem, the bay filly is out of Lamorlaye, a daughter of Danehill Dancer from the family of Dylan Thomas, who has already produced Gr.3 Prix Imprudence-placed TALBAH.

Other European victors of the weekend include:

BAYLAGAN, also bred by Al Shaqab Racing, scoring his third career win over the mile at Chantilly bringing his race earnings to over €85,000

MON OURAGAN, bred by Framont Ltd & associates, also scored his third victory at Dax, bringing his record to 3 wins, 4 placed in 8 runs,

ROCKET ACTION, a homebred for Mr R. Ng, wins for the second time at Wolverhampton.

TORONADO also enjoyed successes in Australia, with AFFAIRS TO REMEMBER breaking her maiden on Sunday at Geelong, and with the most impressive BACKPEDAL, destroying opposition by 8 lengths on her debut run at Ballarat.

Congratulations to all connections!
