Another classic prospect for OLYMPIC GLORY
GOT WIND, daughter of our sire OLYMPIC GLORY, impressed when winning for her seasonal debut in the Prix La Lagune (Class 1), a well-known race in the Bordeaux calendar. GOT WIND, Listed-placed at 2yo, defeated estimated elements like Tilett and Tonnencourt. The Christophe Ferland-trained filly, who carries the colours of the Haras du Tréli, will now aim for a Listed, the Prix Aymeri de Mauléon, possible stepping stone towards the Classics. The Prix La Lagune revealed these past years quality colts and fillies, like Azaelia, fourth of the Prix de Diane Longines Gr.1, Anahita, second of the Prix de Psyché Gr.3, Neguev, third of the Prix Daphnis Gr.3, etc.
This success is another one of a good series for OLYMPIC GLORY, who is represented by his first 3yos on the track. SHOWEROFBLESSING won for the first time at Toulouse on March 22nd, whereas ZAMHARER, for the Al Shaqab Racing colours, did the same at Le Croisé-Laroche, on March 20th.

TORONADO knows no boundaries
TORONADO’s progeny shines in both hemispheres! PRINCE OF SUSSEX, 2yo, impressed on March 30th at Bendigo (Australia) when winning the much coveted VOBIS Gold Rush (AU$500,000 prize money), over 5f. His trainer, Matt Laurie, is now looking at a millionaire race, The Showdown, at Caulfield, on April 27th.
On March 27th, his son HEAVEN’S BONUS, 2yo, won very well in Launceston (Australia), in a AU$50.000 worth prize-money race, over 7f. The colt had already won on March 9th a handicap over 6f. He keeps improving!
His daughter STILL A STAR, also a 2yo, won a barrier trial at Longford: it is her third success in non-official races and we are excited to see her compete “for real”!

In Italy, in Milan, STONE TORNADO made a victorious debut in a maiden over the mile, on March 20th. The filly is entered in the Italian Oaks Gr.2. In France, ERAIDAH (pictured below © APRH) was another debut winner for the Al Shaqab Racing colours and breeding operation, winning the Prix de la Belle Croix over 6f at Chantilly for the training of HF Devin.

OLYMPIC GLORY and TORONADO both stand at haras de Bouquetot, respectively at a cost of €8,000 and €12,000.
