Olympic Glory on fire!

February 27, 2019

Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY, who has his first crop of 3 -year-olds this year, is going through a purple patch. On Monday 25th February, in a smart maiden run over ten furlongs at Marseille-Borely racetrack, his daughter PHOCÉENE (main picture © Scoopdyga) was a five-length winner on just her second start in competition. While on the 12th February at Naples, Italy, OLYMPIC STAR made the headlines, also on his second lifetime start. The Dioscuri SRL owned colt was the easy winner of the Premio Felice, a five-furlong maiden race. Olympic Glory’s progeny can do it all!

On the racing side, the Al Shaqab stable enjoyed another homebred winner with NIGHT FEVER (pictured below) winning at Marseille, in the colt’s maiden. Raised at Haras de Bouquetot in Normandy, the son of Champion Frankel opened his scorecard in easy style: five lengths marked his superiority over his rivals.
