Olympic Glory at the peak of Europe

June 27, 2019

WATCH ME provided her sire, OLYMPIC GLORY, who has his first 3-year-olds on the track, with a prestigious win.
Bred by Mrs Tamagni-Bodmer & Cocheese Bloodstock, owned by Alexander Tamagni and Regula Vannod, the filly was the runaway winner of the Coronation Stakes Gr.1, on the Friday of Royal Ascot.
The race also featured the 1000 Guineas and Irish 1000 Guineas heroine, and the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches winner. In a show of true domination over them, WATCH ME is now the leading 3-year-old filly over the mile!

Six days earlier, GRAND GLORY, another OLYMPIC GLORY 3-year-old filly, came close to success in the Prix de Diane Longines Gr.1. Finishing strongly up the outside, the filly bred by Haras de Bourgeauville took third place in the Classic, less than 3/4 of a length from the winner, CHANNEL. A huge performance for her first attempt at Group level.

OLYMPIC GLORY stands at €8,000. He already is the sire of 6 blacktypes from his first crop, including a Royal Ascot Gr.1 winner and a Gr.1 Classic performer!
