Shalaa at Tattersalls Book 1
Haras de Bouquetot-based SHALAA saw 5 of his first yearlings go through the Tattersalls ring at Newmarket last week.
All 5 of them found a new home, with 4 selling for a six-figure price, reaching an average of €235,000 and a median of €200,511 during this first part of the famous yearling sale. SHALAA's first crop of yearling were conceived on a €27,500 stud fee.
Lot 60, a colt out of Summer Collection, consigned by La Motteraye Consignment, was purchased by Roger Varian for 350,000gns (€412,000).
