Shalaa tops Arqana's V2
The Arqana August yearling sale ended with SHALAA a clear leader in the first season sires, with his first yearlings selling with such consistency that their average reached over €170,000 for 16 lots selling out of the 19 on offer.
In total, 11 of SHALAA's yearlings on offer sold for more than €100,000 for an initial stud fee of €27,500. His median reached €130,000.

The session was headed by Lot 169, a filly out of Satiriste consigned by Haras de Montaigu, was purchased by Mandore International Agency for €260,000

SHALAA TOPS TUESDAY'S ARQANA V.2 SALE
The attraction did not disappear during the V.2 sale with lot 393, one of two lots only on offer that day, topped the session at €135,000. This filly, out of the Shirocco mare Chabelle, is a half sister to Prix Noailles Gr.2 placed More Than A Dream. Bred and consigned by Haras de la Louvière, this yearling daughter of SHALAA was purchased by the association Alex Waugh & Mrs Isabelle Corbani, and signed under BHB Agency.
