Strong trade for Olympic Glory's yearlings

August 20, 2019

On the back of a fantastic racing season for the progeny of OLYMPIC GLORY, the Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion received strong support at the Arqana August yearling sale, the first yearling sale of the calendar.

Sired off a €15,000 stud fee, his yearlings selling during the first part of the Deauville event averaged over €120,000, and a median of €60,000.

The well-bred Lot 54 proved one of the highlights of Day 1, as this filly by OLYMPIC GLORY & AZAFATA, a half-sister to FLEETING consigned by Haras d'Ombreville, went to €400,000, selling to Shawn Dugan.

The demand did not lower on the Tuesday during the Arqana V.2 sale, when lot 441, a filly out of LAMORLAYE consigned by Haras de Castillon, was sold to Jean-Claude Rouget for €75,000.
