A success with silver reflections for Toronado
BOIS D’ARGENT beautifully opened the weekly winning account of our stallion TORONADO with an impressive success in the Prix de la Berline du Duc de Bourbon on May, 18 at Chantilly. Only unraced colt in a strong 2,000 meters-maiden, the Francis-Henri Graffard-trained looks most promising for the future and is entered in the Grs.1 Prix du Jockey Club and Grand Prix de Paris. This success was even more special as it was the first of his owner Clément Lenglet, a professional footballer under the F.C Barcelone and French colors.
Bred by Haras de Bourgeauville, BOIS D’ARGENT is the half-brother to OLYMPIC GLORY’s GRAND GLORY who finished good third in the 2019 Gr.1 Prix de Diane before impressively winning the Listed Prix Zarkava on May, 14 at ParisLongchamp on her comeback.
A few days later on May, 23, the son of TORONADO bred by Framont Limited, M. Matthew and M. Beaumont, MON OURAGAN, stormed home to collect a fourth success over the 2,400 meters of Salon de Provence racecourse.
Our stallion OLYMPIC GLORY got also a successful week down-under with three-year-old VIREN gaining a second consecutive victory on May, 20 at Randwick and two-year-old GLORY HUNTER breaking her maiden tag at first asking over the 1,200 meters of Ipswich racecourse.
Congratulations to all connections!
