Three good reasons to choose Brametot in 2019
By winning the Poule d’Essai and the Prix du Jockey Club Gr.1, BRAMETOT follows the footprints of Shamardal (213 black type products) and Lope De Vega (88 black type products), the last two authors of this double classic success.
The Prix du Jockey Club has proved one of the best stallions-making races in the world. Seven out of the nine last winners have given at least a Gr.1 winner, five have given at least a Classic winner and six stand at €15,000 or more. Including Le Havre (€45,000), Almanzor (€35,000), Intello (£20,000), Shamardal (Private) and Lope De Vega (€80,000). At €6,000, BRAMETOT is the most accessible Prix du Jockey Club winner in its 2,100m version standing in France in the flat market.
BRAMETOT: an outcross pedigree.
Rare are the 3-year-old champions of their generation in a big racing country with neither Danzig and Sadlers' Wells blood… making him a real outcross opportunity like Monsun, his dam’s brother. For the past 40 years, outside Monsun, no other horse of this family had retired to stud. This family has a 100% success with stallions. Seven years after he passed away, there are 171 black types in Monsun’s progeny. In 2016, he had 15,63 % Group winners by runners, which is better than Galileo (15,61 %) in the same season.
