Toronado tops the 2nd crop sires table
TORONADO confirmed his position as the Leading 2nd crop sire in Europe by number of winners, with 4 additionnal victories and a new blacktype since the beginning of April.
TORONADO was in the headlines again on Monday at Chantilly when his son MURAIKH was the cosy winner of his maiden over the mile. This was a well-deserved victory for Al Shaqab Racing’s representative, who is trained by Henri-François Devin, as he was coming off a handy second place behind a highly thought of colt, Moonlightpainter, on the all-weather track at Chantilly.

TORONADO recorded some new black type thanks to STONE TORNADO’s second place in the Premio Seregno LR, over the mile at Milan's San Siro racecourse last Saturday. This was only the filly’s second start, following on from her debut win. Another winning debut came from ERAIDAH on the 1st April at Chantilly in the colours of Al Shaqab Racing, as well as TORQUE POWER, a winner of the Cena Vaznice at Prague on her first start.

As for ARROW, he took his second consecutive victory at Lyon on the 4th April in a Class 2 over 2200m. The colt had already won at this track on the 27th Februray, following on from an promising debut when second at Pau.
