Treble for Al Shaqab Racing in England
Three promising 3 year old winners in the form of BURIDAN, ALJADY and KASSAR performed for Al Shaqab Racing.
BURIDAN (FR) (pictured) won the six furlong handicap on the July Course at Newmarket. Trained by Richard Hannon, the 3-year-old son of Choisir, out of Lady McKell, kept on strongly under Pat Dobbs to win by a head, staying on nicely up the hill.
ALJADY (FR) was returning from an eight month break at Redcar to win the novice auction stakes over 7f furlongs. Trained by Richard Fahey, the Graham Lee-ridden 3-year-old made all to win by 1 and a 1/2 lengths.
Exceed and Excel colt KASSAR (IRE) was victorious at Yarmouth over 1 mile in a 0-105 Handicap over good to firm ground for trainer Roger Charlton and jockey Kieran Shoemark.
