Armor Supreme leads new juvenile wave for Armor

ARMOR’s promising start with his second crop continued to gather pace as ARMOR SUPREME became his third debut winner from just five two-year-old runners, maintaining an excellent strike-rate for a numerically modest generation.

The latest success came on May 1 at Goodwood, where ARMOR SUPREME, a two-year-old filly out of Hayaku (Arch) bred by J & F Reilly, made a winning debut in a valuable Class 2 Novice Stakes over 5 furlongs. Recouping four times her purchase price at the first time of asking, the juvenile looked well prepared and professional, making all and asserting over a furlong out before keeping on to win by 1½ lengths, with Hollie Doyle never needing to get serious. Given the manner of her success, a step up into Stakes company now looks a natural next move.
She becomes the third winner at the first time of asking for ARMOR’s second crop, following the earlier successes of AIX LES BAINS and VALENTINA BELLA, both also successful on debut.
ARMOR had already made a notable impact in 2025 when finishing as the leading sire of two-year-olds in France by statistics, despite limited runners, notably represented by a multiple black-type filly from his first generation. His current crop is now reinforcing those early signs with a series of sharp juvenile performances.
Further boosting the pedigree page, ARMOR is a son of No Nay Never, who once again made headlines at the highest level this weekend with the winner of the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket, underlining his continued influence as a source of top-class performers.
With three winners from five runners — all scoring on debut — ARMOR’s juveniles are making a strong early impression this season.
Congratulations to his breeders and all connections!
