New international G1 victory for Mehmas

Impressive new victory at the highest level for Tally-Ho Stud’s resident MEHMAS with CHEZ PIERRE cruising to a wide-margin win in the G1 Marker’s Mark Mile at Keeneland, USA on April, 14 to defeat star miler MODERN GAMES in record time. The five-year-old was bred by SCEA des Prairies and Haras de Castillon.

Three-year-old WEN MOON was also part of MEHMAS’ weekly elite squad when making a winning seasonal comeback at Pontefract, UK on April, 11 to claim a second career-victory for breeder Tally-Ho Stud.


Haras de Bouquetot-based GALILEO GOLD records super statistics with his first two crops of racing age and is already sire to two G1 performers courtesy of G1 Phoenix Stakes-winner EBRO RIVER and G1 Prix Marcel Boussac-placed OSCULA. His daughter GOLDANA scored her first success in Group company at the Curragh, Ireland on April, 17 on her seasonal comeback, striking late in a thrilling conclusion to the G3 Gladness Stakes. Bred by Patrick Grogan, she came alive on that softer surface and is now open to a step up in trip.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY continues his impressive streak of international victories and pinned a new Stakes performance to his tally on April, 10. Hubert Honoré et Clément-bred WALDERSEE followed-up Listed Torquator Tasso win as final start of 2022 by a third place in the Listed Sauren Dachfonds-Rennen at Koln, Germany to kick of 2023.

On the very same day, SALLINE DE HORABLE and three-year-old STRAND’S OF GLORY lost their maiden tags both, respectively in a 3,000 meters handicap race at Angers, France for the first named bred by SCEA Chateau Montlandrie and in a 1,600 meters maiden race at Roma, Italy for STRAND’S OF GLORY.
