New maiden tag broken for our homebreds

New maiden tag broken for our homebreds, starting with our three-year-old daughter of SHALAA TAROB who posted an impressive 5,5 lengths-success on January, 8 over the mile at Pau, France on her second run only. Entrusted to François Rohaut, she was ridden to victory by Matthias Lauron and bred at Haras de Bouquetot out of the Galileo mare ILTEMAS, herself a Stakes winner.

AMERA followed-up with the same success when opening her score in a one mile handicap race at Chantilly, France on January, 13. In the care of Francis-Henri Graffard, our Haras de Bouquetot-bred daughter of No Nay Never and AL NAAMAH was ridden to the final post by Stéphane Pasquier.

Our stallions were also honored this week with an international collection of performances. Tally-Ho Stud’s resident MEHMAS was represented in Bahrain by SQUEALER who was runner-up in the Local G3 Al Wasmiya Cup on January, 12. On the other side of the Channel sea, three-year-old fillies BADOSA and RHADIDAT crossed both the finish line first, the first named opening her maiden tag on January, 11 at Southwell for Stockvale Bloodstock Ltd while RHADIDAT secured her second career-win on January, 10 at Kempton for Dermot Quinn. Last of the weekly set was ASTIMEGOESBY who was back to winning ways in Spain over the 1,500 meters of Dos Hermanas racecourse on January, 14.

Haras de Bouquetot-based GALILEO GOLD congratulated two winners in two different countries with RED BOURBON again honored in Italy with a success over the 1,500 meters of Pisa racecourse on January, 11. Two days later in Hong-Kong, FALLON defeated his 14 rivals to score a 1,400 meters handicap race at Sha Tin racecourse.

Haras de Bouquetot’s resident ZELZAL pined new French victories to his tally this month, with ever-consistents Freddy Head-bred VADIRUM registering his fourth career-win on January, 11 over the 1,400 meters of Lyon-La Soie and Haras de Saint-Voir-bred J’ACCLAME starting the new season the same successful way he ended 2023 with a fifth career-victory on January, 13 at Chantilly.

Congratulations to all winning connections!
