New victory for our juveniles

MEHMAS continues his collection of victories, including new performances for his juveniles and a triple of winners on November, 22 in three different countries. Two-year-old RHASIDAT opened the mark for breeder Dermot Quinn when breaking her maiden tag in a 7 furlongs handicap race at Dundal, Ireland. A moment later on both sides of the Channel sea, five-year-olds multiple winner CLARENDON HOUSE and dual scorer ACCLAM crossed both the finish line first, respectively on his seasonal comeback at Wolverhampton, UK the D.R. Tucker-bred, and in a 1,800 meters handicap race at Lyon-La Soie for Ecurie de Castillon, ZM Al-Khayarin and HN. Al-Hababi-bred ACCLAM. MEHMAS also pinned new juvenile successes to his 2023 record courtesy of ROMAN CROWN and PITNEY who were both acclaimed in the Wolverhampton’s winners enclosure, UK. Lynn Lodge Stud and Pier House Stud ROMAN CROWN was crowned on his debuts with a 2-lenghts victory on November, 21 while Haras du Saubouas and F. Bragato-bred PITNEY opened his winning account on his third outing on November, 23. The week ended with a double of scorers on November, 24 on both sides of the Atlantic ocean, three-year-old SINGLE TRACK MIND winning at Del Mar, USA and KHABIB defeating his 11 rivals in a handicap race at Southwell, UK for a 6th career-win for breeder Tally-Ho Stud.


Our two-year-old homebred AL KAMLAH displayed talent to break her maiden on her second run, easily landing by 3-lenghts the Prix de la Croix Saint-Rieuil at Chantilly on November, 23 under the ride of Mickael Barzalona. Our daughter of SHALAA entrusted to André Fabre was raised at Haras de Bouquetot out of the Frankel mare AJAYEB. Our colors were also represented by AUSTRAL who scored on Qatar debut under the ride of Olivier d’Andigré. Our three-year-old bred by Haras de Bourgeauville defeated his elder in the Thoroughbred Graduation Plate over the mile at Al Rayyan, following his previous success in France.


Our Haras de Bouquetot’s resident ZELZAL was also represented by two-year-old SHERZAL who broke his maiden tag on his third start only on November, 22 over the 2,000 meters of Angers, France for breeder Ecurie Cerdeval. KELLY KEY hooked up also a new gold medal to her tally when scoring a second consecutive win on November, 25 at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat, France for breeder Ecurie Jarlan.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY acclaimed new winners on both sides of the Channel sea, starting with Stilvi Compania Financiera-bred ERNAN CORTES who overcame his 15 rivals on November, 23 at Chantilly, France for a third career-win. The following day, MIRROR ILLUSION left no place for illusion when winning in a 1,500 meters handicap race at Cairns, UK.


GALILEO GOLD was well represented in Italy with RED BOURBON back to winning ways at Treviso on November, 26 when scoring a 1,650 meters handicap race.
