MEHMAS had another prolific week with his two-year-olds, three of them losing their maiden tags. SIR YOSHI received the first honors on May, 20 at Tipperary, Ireland for breeder Tally-Ho Stud when making his third start a successful one. AMESTRIS followed the lead on the other side of the Channel sea, scoring by over five-lengths on her second start at Lingfield, UK on June 1st for breeder Bickmarsh Stud. Similarly, Paul McCartan-bred BLINKY bested his rivals on May,28 at Leicester, UK on his second start, with MEHMAS' CARRADOS back in third.
Also aged two, TEEJ A secured a second consecutive victory for her breeder Tally-Ho Stud on May, 31 at Epsom, UK out of three starts only.
Our Tally-Ho Stud-based stallion also recorded a double of winners on May, 30 in two different countries. Three-year-old PAT DE L’ALGUER defeated his 12 rivals in Italy at Chilivani, while ROYAL EMERTHER led the German 1,000 meters of Baden-Baden.
Our stallion at Haras de Bouquetot, GALILEO GOLD, counted a new maiden winner to close out May. Paul Farrelly three-year-old bred MISS MEAGHER won authoritatively on her second outing at Down Royal, UK, on May,31.
Three-year-olds continued to shine with ZELZAL adding a new winner across the Atlantic, courtesy of KETORIA who broke her maiden tag on June, 2 at Santa Anita, USA. Our stallion also delivered a Stakes performance over the hurdles at Auteuil, France from his quarters at Haras de Bouquetot, as V. Tymoshenko-bred GURZUF finished third in the Listed Prix de la Muette on May, 28 on his first attempt at the highest level.
Congratulations to all respective connections!
