CONFORMATION & PEDIGREE
ECTOT combines the bloodlines of Montjeu, Linamix and Danehill. With his Group 1 winning brother Most Improved being by Lawman, mares from the Invincible Spirit line would be an obvious nick with ECTOT.
When looking at Hurricane Run’s best progeny, his most successful matings were undeniably with mares hailing from the Nasrullah line. Inbreeding on this bloodline has especially proved fruitful. The Danzig line has been another successful match with ECTOT’s sire Hurricane Run and would be also interesting to inbreed on, rejoining our first point about mating to the Invincible Spirit line. More generally inbreeding on the Northern Dancer line should be rewarding.
On the outcross side, the matings with Mr Prospector’s bloodline has proved its value with Hurricane Run - so has the Sharpen Up / Native Dancer line. Both these bloodlines seem an obvious try with ECTOT.
