Al Wukair opens the Group mark

First Group victory celebrated for our Haras de Bouquetot-based sire AL WUKAIR with PRINCESSE BADEE landing in style the G3 Hamburger Stutenpreis on July, 8 at Hamburg, Germany. In a thrilling finish, the SCEA Haras de Victot-bred three-year-old filly showed all her talent to work her way to the front in this last preparatory race before the G1 Preis der Diana.

European leading sire of two-year-ols MEHMAS continues his rampage, registering his 57th individual Stakes winner on July, 5 at Sandown, UK courtesy of AESTERIUS. The Sean Maguire-bred juvenile landed the Listed Dragon Stakes on his third start only, providing to his star sire already a 12th individual Blacktype performer this season.

Our Tally-Ho Stud resident was also honored this week with the impressive debut victory of our own homebred SELENIEN on July, 3rd at La Teste-de-Buch, France. Facing a field of more experienced horses, our Didier Guillemin-bred two-year-old displayed his talent under the ride of Alexandre Gavilan to win by 5 and a half lengths, showing a potential for 1,600-meter races next. AMAZING ATHENA continued the two-year-old winning series by breaking her maiden tag at Naas, Ireland on July, 6 on her second career-start, the Summit Bloodstock filly leading a 1-3 for our stallion with Renzo Forni-bred LUNIGIANA finishing a close third. In France, two-year-old ESTEPONA made an eye-catching debut win in the Prix de Tancarville for Cuadra Mediterraneao, winning a JDG rising star on the prestigious G1 Prix Jean Prat day at Deauville. Splendid in the pre-ring and despite missing his start, he kept on strongly in a fighting finish to win by a head.

MEHMAS was also represented internationally with PEARL LOUNGE coming home first in Sweden on July, 2nd at Bro Park racecourse and ASTIMEGOESBY claiming a new victory in Spain on July, 5 at La Zarzuela racecourse.

Our Haras de Bouquetot-based sire ZELZAL inaugurated the new month with a double of winners on July, 5 at Clairefontaine, France, starting with two-year-old ZAKHAROVA who broke her maiden tag on her debut for breeder Scuderia Micolo SNC. Three-year-old CASARES followed-up when opening his winning account in a 1,600 meters handicap race for breeder Vincent Lechenault. Three-year-old HUNGRY HEART made a similar move at ParisLongchamp, France on July, 4th when collecting a first career-win for breeders Julie Mestrallet, Robert Albigot, Pierre-Alain Touchard and LJ Negoce.

GALILEO GOLD recorded a new success in Italy from his headquarters at Haras de Bouquetot courtesy of CONCHUMEA who crossed the finish line first over the 1,900 meters of Siracusa racecourse.

Congratulations to all winning connections!
