ARMOR's NOCTURNE BLOU scored her second career win with a decisive front-running display in the Prix de la Porte Julia Augusta over 1,200 metres at Dax on Sunday.

Trained and owned by Bruno Montzey, the daughter of ARMOR travelled strongly throughout and quickened smartly in the straight to pull away from her rivals, crossing the line two lengths clear.

Bred by Élevage de la Croix de Place and F. Carle, she is out of Jimaliyah, a daughter of The Gurkha, and was landing her second success in the past month.

ARMOR continues to lead the French first season sire standings, with two individual winners and three victories from just three runners. He currently sits fourth among European freshman sires by earnings.

Congratulations to all connections!
