New blacktype celebrated for our Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR on March, 18 at Saint-Cloud, France with BACK TO BLACK finishing strong third in the Listed Prix François Mathet on his first attempt at the highest level. Fabrice Vermeulen-bred three-year-old becomes the 6th blacktype performer of his sire, following a strong 2022 season with his first crop of three-year-olds reaching 47% of winners/runners.

TORONADO congratulated a new Group 1 hero from his headquarters at Swettenham Stud, when his daughter MARIAMIA was back to her best landing the $1M G1 The Galaxy at Rosehill, Australia, after scoring the G2 Expressway Stakes on last January. The six-year-old mare became TORONADO’s 4th individual G1 winner.

Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY is on his way to register new blacktype courtesy of his daughter AMELIELYMPIQUE who posted an easy success in the Class 2 Prix Paul Londe on March, 19 at Lyon-Parilly, France. Dual winner out of three starts, the Jean-Claude Seroul-bred three-year-old holds an entry in the G1 Prix Saint Alary and Prix de Diane. Three-year-old DAKAROV was also a scorer this week for breeder Haras de l’Hôtellerie when defeating his 12 rivals to open his winning account at Agen, France on March, 13.

Haras de Bouquetot’s resident ZELZAL was honored overseas at Wolverhampton, UK on March, 13 with the success of GIVE A LITTLE BACK who offered a first victory to breeder A. Milovanov.

The week ended-up with Haras de Bouquetot-based GALILEO GOLD who was named in the winners’ enclosure following the success of three-year-old LA STORIA CONTINUA over the 2,500 meters of Roma, Italy.
