Chibitty certainly caught the eye of his connections on his turf bow. Having left a lasting impression on Deauville’s all-weather track last November, he merely confirmed his potential.
Ridden by Sophie Chuette, he tracked fourth throughout before unleashing a decisive burst in the final 400 metres of the Saint-Cloud straight to land the Prix Brûleur, beating the favourite.
Trainer and co-owner Mikel Delzangles was pleased with both performances and has outlined his long-term programme in the JDG.
