Galileo Gold leads a Stakes 1-2 for our stallions

Our stallions performances are blossoming like spring, starting with a Listed 1-2 for our sires GALILEO GOLD and MEHMAS. GALILEO GOLD's four-year-old GOLDANA posted a gutsy performance to land the Listed Heritage Stakes on April, 10 at Leopardstown, Ireland, opening the mark for the new season after her Group 3 success last year for breeder Patrick Grogan. Stakes winner at three, four and five years old, POWER UNDER ME was back in second, making a convincing seasonal comeback despite an unlucky final stretch for Ms Barbel-Reiss MEHMAS also celebrated a 1-2 with his two-year-olds from his base at Tally-Ho Stud, PROUDLY YOURS losing his maiden tag on his first start for T. Stewart, while SIR YOSHI was back second by half a length for breeder Tally-Ho Stud. Three-year-old HEART OF DARKNESS also broke is maiden tag on April,13 at Dundalk, Ireland on his second start only, the Llety Farms-bred leading the way for an international triple of winners in a day. A few hours later, three-year-old BURIC DE L’ALGUER was ledding the field over 1,800 meters at Chilivani, Italy, while CHORLTON LANE triumphed on the other side of the world at Bendigo Racecourse, Australia. Last scorer of the week was courtesy of three-year-old BELLARCHI who secured a fourth career-victory for breeder Con Marnane on April, 9 at Southwel, UK.

GALILEO GOLD follows the collection of maiden victories courtesy of three-year-old GALILEO DAME who turned into a success her second outing on April,10 at Leopardstown Racecourse, Ireland for breeder Tally-Ho Stud.

Our homebreds join the dance courtesy of JALNAR who broke her maiden tag by 3 lengths on April, 13 at Fontainebleau, France in the 9 furlongs Prix de la Plaine des Sablons. Raosed at Haras de Bouquetot, she is a daughter of Frankel out of the Sea The Stars mare JALHALAH, entrusted to Henri-François Devin and ridden to victoruy by Alexis Pouchin.

Homebred SAFWAN added a new win to his tally under the care of Edouard Monfort and the ride of Fabrice Veron. Bred at Haras de Bouquetot, our three-year-old recorded his second career-win on April, 10 at La Teste-de-Buch racecourse, France. He is a son of Wootton Bassett out of AL MAYHOLA, a regally-bred winning daughter of Sea The Stars, herself out of Nathaniel’s own sister, CHANGING SKIES.

AL WUKAIR continues to record successes in France, starting with Haras de Bouquetot-bred NICASTRO's handicap win over the 2,000 meters of Saint-Cloud on April, 4. Three-year-old KENZA NOVA did the same at Chantilly the following day to offer a first victory to Mell Elevages and Ecurie Artsam. The week ended with Haras d’Ecouves-bred PLEASEMAN who crossed the finish line first on April,14 at Moulins.

OLYMPIC GLORY also celebrates a victorious early April from his base at Haras de Bouquetot with new successes for his three-year-olds. RAYO DE LUZ shone brightly on April, 13 at Tarbes, France when losing his maiden tag for his owner-breeder Sultan Saeed Mohammed Harib Alfalahi. KR Al Mohannadi-bred HIMYAN also opened his account upon his seasonal return to competition on April, 14 at La Roche-sur-Yon, France while HAUSSEZ boosted the scores by collecting his second career-win on April, 6 at Bordeaux-le-Bouscat, France for Franklin Finance.
