Classic-entered ZIA AGNESE struck impressively in the Prix Cléopâtre Gr.3 over 10.5f at Saint-Cloud, becoming the first Group winner for her sire ROMANISED. The progressive filly, trained by Gianluca Bietolini, took a decisive step toward the Prix de Diane - French Oaks Gr.1, for which she holds an entry.

Bred by Team Hogdala A.B. and owned in partnership by Mme Gina D’Amato and Richard Marini, ZIA AGNESE was making her first appearance in Group company and holds an entry in the Prix de Diane. She travelled strongly behind the pace before producing a decisive turn of foot to see off Tajlina and Indalimos in a field of five.

Out of the Le Havre mare Little Sister, ZIA AGNESE was already a dual winner at 2 and now becomes the second black type performer from the first crop of ROMANISED, joining CURRAGH CAMP, who was placed in the Listed Prix Maurice Caillault earlier this season and also holds a Classic entry.

Congratulations to all her connections!

ROMANISED, winner of the Irish 2,000 Guineas and Prix Jacques le Marois, stands at Haras de Bouquetot.
