New Group 1 place for Mehmas

MEHMAS celebrated two Stakes performances in two days with his two-year-olds, starting with Tom Lacy’s ever consistent G2 July Stakes hero PERSIAN FORCE who claimed another G1 placing when finishing third in the G1 Middle Park Stakes on September, 24 at Newmarket, GB. Paul Giles-bed FOR VICTORY was a winner last time out at Toulouse, France before finishing strong third in the Listed Critérium de Lyon on September, 22 over the 1,600 meters of Lyon-Parilly, France on his fourth start only.

Additional victories for Tally-Ho Stud resident included two-year-olds KNIGHT and SQUEALER who displayed their talent overseas at Yarmouth on September, 25 and at Beverley on September, 20 for a second consecutive win offered to Tally-Ho Stud. Three-year-olds MP Partnership & Phullustown House-bred MEHMAN and Ballybeg Stud-bred FLAME OF EIRE joined the dance when crossing the finish line first at Dundalk, UK for the first time on September, 23 and at Listowel, UK on September, 22 for a fourth career-success. Doyen of the serie was four-year-old KHABIB who claimed a fifth success in a handicap race at Southwell, UK on September, 22 for breeder Tally-Ho Stud.


Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR keeps adding the good scores with a double of winners on September, 25. Two-year-old ENCHANTRES opened her winning account at Fontainebleau, France on her third start for breeders J. Kilpatrick, Ecurie Ades-Hazan and Mrs G. Henochsberg while three-year-old FAMILY TRIP was seen in the winners’ enclosure at La Zarzuela, Spain for Comunidad Jereditar Quereda H.


TORONADO was honored with three international winners on September, 25 with TOROBEEL MURIEL loosing her maiden tag at Naracoorte, Australia, CYCLONE LORIE crossing the finish line first at Devonport, Australia and SWEET ENCOUNTER getting the best of his opponents at Sha Tin, Hong-Kong. Down-under, four-year-old AIRCLASH defeated his 11 rivals over the 1,100 meters of Bendigo on September, 21 and three-year-old SIR TOROBEEL broke his maiden tag over 1,400 meters at Benalla. In France, three-year-old COCO SENORA offered a first win to breeder Ecurie Haras des Senora in a 2,400 meters handicap race at Chantilly on September, 21.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY congratulated the success of three-year-old BABY CLORY in a 2,000 meters handicap race at Saint-Cloud, France for breeder Ecurie Normandie Pur-Sang while on the other side of the planet, five-year-old GOLD LUNAR claimed gold in a 1,600 meters handicap race at Scone, Australia.


Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD was represented by three-year-old FRENCH RESCUE who defeated a field of 23 opponents to open his winning account at The Curragh, Ireland on September, 24 for Springwell Stud.
