On Monday, NOTA BENE landed the Prix René Bernard at Vittel, ridden by Anthony Crastus for trainer Nicolas Caullery and owner Gérard Gruson.
A daughter of WOODED out of Sacred Belief (by Muhaarar), the bay mare was bred by Gestüt Zur Küste AG. Well drawn and settled just behind the pace, she travelled comfortably before threading her way forward and asserting in the final stages of the 2,100-metre contest to win.
This marks her first success for her new trainer and owner.
Congratulations to all involved!
