ROMANISED’s first crop continues to impress as NOBLE D'ARGENT became his third individual 2-year-old winner from only four runners so far in 2025, maintaining a remarkable 75 per cent winners-to-runners strike rate for the young stallion.
Trained by Didier Guillemin and partnered by Alexandre Gavilan, NOBLE D'ARGENT broke his maiden in convincing style in the Prix d'Odos, a 1,100-metre conditions race at Tarbes on Sunday. Always prominent, he quickened well in the testing ground to assert by two and a half lengths over The Black Stone, with Sy Ly taking third.
The colt was making his second career appearance, having shaped with promise on debut over the same course and distance last month.
Bred by J. Besnouin and Mme J. Besnouin, NOBLE D'ARGENT is out of Noblesse d’Argent, a daughter of Kendargent. Congratulations to his breeders and to all connections involved.
