ROMANISED continued his promising start at stud as OSHIA became his second two-year-old winner from just four runners to date, breaking her maiden in the Prix des Colombes, a 1,200-metre conditions race at Marseille-Borély on Friday.

Trained by Nicolas Perret and carrying the colours of J.N. Temam, the daughter of ROMANISED was given a confident ride by Sylvain Ruis, racing prominently before staying on well to score by two and a half lengths from Astrea, with Sparks Of Love taking third.

OSHIA’s victory came on her second career start, building on a promising debut third at Tarbes last month.

Bred by Mr Robert Ng, OSHIA is out of Love Freedom, a winning daughter of Sir Percy. Congratulations to her breeder and to all connections involved.
