Romanised opens the mark

ROMANISED opened the score with his first crop of two-year-olds, his very first winner striking on debuts. Bred by RY. and N. Simon and M. Mechineau, O SOLE MIO lost his maiden tag on April, 20 over the 1,100 meters on Tarbes, France on his first start, marking a first victory for our Haras de Bouquetot-based dual Group 1 winner resident. ROMANISED was himself a winner on debuts on April.

 

AL WUKAIR celebrated new three-year-old victorious with a double on April, 21 in two different countries. YOBRO led the field over the 1,600 meters of Jagesro, Sweden, while BORGHAL secured a second consecutive win at Durtal, France for breeder Ecurie Cerdeval.

 

Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL recorded another winning two-year-old on debuts courtesy of the Vitse family-bred FRAISE DES BOIS who lost her maiden tag at Tarbes, France on April, 20. In France as well, three-year-old BELLANO opened his winning account on April,16 at Compiègne for M. Motschmann, just like GURZUF who claimed his first success on April,17 at Fontainebleau for V. Tymoshenko.

 

MEHMAS posted a trio of winners on April, 20 from his headquarters at Tally-Ho Stud, with two-year-old MISS LAMAI leading the way with a first start victory at Thirsk, UK for breeder Denis McDonnell. Moments later, Tallu-Ho Stud-bred MEHMO notched up its sixth career-win at Nottingham, UK while BURIC DE L’ALGUER completed the trio by defeated 11 rivals in Italy at Chilivani. FOR VICTORY lived up to his name and breeder Paul Giles by crossing the finish line first on April, 17 at Canterbury, UK, while on the other side of the Channel, European Bloodstock Management-bred JUGANDO was receiving the honors at Toulouse, France, on April,21 for the second time this season.
