ROMANISED recorded his sixth individual 2yo winner of the year when CIELO DI ROMA got off the mark at the second time of asking in the 1400m maiden at Deauville on Saturday. Trained by Gianluca Bietolini for Mike Pietrangelo and Mag Horse Racing Srl, the colt was bred by S.A.S. Haute Vallee and Mme C. Hutchinson out of Suestar (Dark Angel). Ridden by Alexis Pouchin, he prevailed by three-quarters of a length from Wollemi.

Earlier this month, ROMANISED had been represented by another juvenile scorer when GYMNAST took the 1800m maiden at Rochefort-sur-Loire. The gelding is trained by Mikel Delzangles for Robert Ng, who also bred him out of Olympic Ribbon (Olympic Glory). Partnered by Sophie Chuette, he scored by half a length from Villa Adrienne.

ROMANISED’s flagbearer ZIA AGNESE also added further black-type to her record when finishing third in the Prix de Psyche Gr.3 at Deauville. The stallion’s recent form has been excellent with his last ten runners producing 7 wins or placings, including a Group 3 third, two wins and multiple seconds.

Congratulations to all respective connections!
