Stakes performances for Mehmas & Toronado

Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS expanded his impressive tally with a new Stakes performance celebrated down-under with MARSABIT. 5-times winner bred by Oliver Donlau, he finished runner-up in the Listed Albury Gold Cup on March, 24 at Albury, Australia, a qualification race for the $2M Big Dance at Royal Dandwick on November.


Swettenham Stud’s resident TORONADO celebrated two Stakes performances on March, 24 : 5-year-old BELTORO showed impressive to records back-to-back Stakes success in the 2,000 meters Listed The Albury Cup at Albury, Australia for breeder Delbridge Racing. On the very same day, TORONADO was also celebrated with three-year-old PAPILLON CLUB who was an eye-catching 2,5-lenghts winner of the G3 Alexandra Stakes at Moonee Valley, Australia.


Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL keeps his numbers high with a new impressive maiden winner courtesy of three-year-old ABHA. Bred and owned by Khalifa M. Al. Attiyah, she claimed the Prix de la Saint-Patrick at Pornichet, France on March, 22 by 2 lenghts on her second start only.


AL WUKAIR’s SWEETHEART was already placed at Listed level last year and claimed a second career-victory over the 1,600 meters of Compiègne, France last week on March, 20 for breeder Haras de Saint-Julien.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY also joined the Australian collection of victories with five-year-old BUCKEYE BULLET defeating his 12 rivals at Pinjarra on March, 26.
