Stakes performances for Olympic Glory and Toronado

Sire of multiple G1 winners WATCH ME and GRAND GLORY, OLYMPIC GLORY added a new Group performance to his tally with TOURBILLON DIAMOND defeating 13 rivals to land the G2 Sha Thin Trophy at Sha Thin, Hong-Kong on October, 16. International victories of the week for our Haras de Bouquetot-based stallion included down-under a maiden tag lost for APHRODOTTI at Queanbeyan on October, 11 and a first success for OLYMPIC GAZE at Newcastle on October, 15.


TORONADO followed the same path with a new Stakes performance celebrated in Australia with three-year-old ANGRY SKIES finishing runner-up in the Listed Gothic Stakes at Caufield on October, 15. On the very same day, three-year-old LACED UP HEELS came home first over the 1,000 meters of Ascot, Australia, and GREAT AMBITION crossed the finish line first in a 1,400 meters handicap race at Bendigo. TORONADO also celebrated a duet of international winners on October, 16 with SWEET ENCOUNTER coming home first at Sha Tin, Hong-Kong and EL INGRATO collecting a new win at La Zarzuela, Spain. The international round-up ended with HYPERCANE who made a successful seasonal comeback at Balaklava, Australia on October, 12.


Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR collected a new scorer to his tally with Eledy SRL-bred AMI SOLEDAD opening his winning account in a handicap race at ParisLongchamp on October, 13.


The three-year-old generation of GALILEO GOLD was successful on both sides of the Pyrenees mountains with RED BOURBON getting the best of his rivals at Firenze, Italy on October, 13 and Al Asayl-bred SHIMURA securing a second success to her tally at Tarbes, France on October, 16.


Tally-Ho Stud-based MEHMAS was acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic ocean with QUATTROELLE crossing the finish line first at Santa Anita, USA on October, 15 and GHS Bloodstock and Tally-Ho Stud-bred FAYATHAAN loosing her maiden tag at Chantilly, France over 1,400 meters on October, 12.


Arrowfield Stud-bsaed SHALAA was honored with three new Stakes performances in a week, our sire being already responsible for 16 Stakes performers worldwide this year, and now 25 blacktype horses lifetime courtesy of CUSTODIAN, SHALAILED and SHALSTAR. Three-year-old SHALAILED landed the way when claiming the 1,200 meters G3 Blue Sapphire at Caulfield on October, 12. On the very same racecourse, it was a duet of Stakes performances on Ocotober, 15 with SHALSTAR finishing runner-up in the Listed Alinghi Stakes and three-year-old CUSTODIAN grabbing the third place of the Listed Gothic Stakes over 1,400 meters.
