Third individual G1 winner for Mehmas

MEHMAS celebrated his third individual Group 1 winner courtesy of sensational MINZAAL who was the uncatchable winner of the G1 Sprint Cup on September, 3 at Haydock, GB. Bred by Ringfort Stud, he is from the first crop of our Tally-Ho Stud resident. On the very same day, two-year-old BELIEVING was runner-up in the G3 Sirenia Stakes at Kempton, UK on her first attempt at the highest level for breeders M. Mullen and Cloneymore Farm.

Our stallion was also honored this week with his juveniles, the European Bloodstock Management-bred JUGANDO claiming a 5 lenghts-success at Compiègne, France on August, 31 while Tally-Ho Stud-bred SQUEALER was opening his winning account at York on September, 4. Three-year-olds PHOENIX BEACH and MISS SAMU followed the same pace, with the first named breaking his maiden tag for Tally-Ho Stud-based on August, 29 at Southwell, GB while MISS SAMU was crossing the finish line first at Livorno, Italy on September, 4.


It was a triple of Stakes performances in a weekend for our Haras de Bouquetot-based AL WUKAIR with a 1-3 celebrated in the Listed Prix Millkom at La Teste-de-Buch on September, 2 : B. Vitale Brovarone-bred KHAMMA got the best of her rivals on her first attempt at Stakes level while Haras de Saint-Julien-bred SWEETHEART grabbed the third place. Three-year-old INISHNEE joined the dance when finishing third in the Listed Prix de la Cochère on September, 4 at ParisLongchamp, France for Ballysax Bloodstock Ltd. Last of the victorious weekly serie was two-year-old CAPITANO who opened his winning account at second asking on September, 2 at La Teste-de-Buch for breeder C. Jouandou.


Tally-Ho Stud-based GALILEO GOLD continued his serie in Germany with a new Stakes performances grabbed by three-year-old GOLDANA who finished third in the Listed Fillies Cup on September, 3 over the 1,400 meters of Baden-Baden.


TORONADO’s CORNER POCKET added a new Stakes performance to his Australian tally when finishing third in the Listed Chantanqua Stakes on September, 3 over the 1,200 meters of Moonee Valley racecourse. The following day, our stallion was responsible of four winners in three different countries on September, 4, starting in France with BE Sangster-bred MY FLINDERS scoring a handicap race at ParisLongchamp and Haras d’Etreham-bred CAPABLE claiming a fifth success at Montier-en-Der. On the same day, PIZZO FALCONE came home first at Merano, Italy and TUSCAN LEATHER defeated his rivals at Birdsville, Australia. On the other side of the Channel sea, INNSE GALL secured his fourth career-success on August, 30 at Ripon for breeder Harts Farm Stud and Her Majesty the Queen-bred TYNWALD was a fourth time winner on September, 1st at Haydock.


Gestüt Ebbesloh-based BRAMETOT welcomes his first three-year-olds on the track this season and celebrated a new winner in YORK TOWN who was victorious at Redon, France on September, 4 for Ecurie Jacques Joel Leveau.


Haras de Bouquetot-based OLYMPIC GLORY celebrated a duet of scorers on September, 4 in Australia with LAURIE getting the best of his rivals at Birdsville and GOLD LUNAR defeating 10 opponents at Moree. In Italy, BLURY was found in the winners’ enclore on September, 3 after completing the 1,300 meters of Siracusa racecourse.
