VASSY, a two-year-old colt by ZELZAL out of Vrigny, made a winning debut on Friday at Vichy in the Prix de Divonne-les-Bains (1600m, soft ground).
Trained by Christopher Head and ridden by Maxime Guyon, the colt carries the colours of Gérard Augustin-Normand and was bred by Franklin Finance S.A. Always travelling well, he took control in the final stages to score decisively.
VASSY is the fourth debut winner by ZELZAL in just a week and becomes his tenth individual two-year-old winner of the season, joining the likes of KENZEL. A strong momentum for the promising progeny of ZELZAL!
