Wooded 2-year-old filly impresses on debut at Vichy

WOODED added another smart 2-year-old winner to his tally as SPECIAL WOOD made a successful debut in the Prix Michel Henochsberg over 1,400m at Vichy on Tuesday. The filly travelled strongly throughout and showed a neat turn of foot in the soft ground to impressively score from last to first by two lengths.

Trained by M. Pitart and ridden by Tony Piccone, she carries the colours of her breeder Jean-Pierre-Joseph Dubois, who also bred her out of Salerne, a daughter of Charm Spirit.
