Zelzal 3-year-old Zelker off the mark at Compiègne

ZELZAL recorded a new winner as three-year-old colt ZELKER got off the mark in the Prix des Étangs de Batigny over 2400m at Compiègne on Monday evening.

Trained by Miroslav Rulec and ridden by Christophe Soumillon, the progressive colt raced handily throughout before staying on well in the straight to break his maiden at the fifth attempt.

ZELKER is out of Kerkyra, a daughter of Air Chief Marshal. He was bred in France by Mme ML. Collet and T. Poirier. Congratulations to his connections!
