Zelzal lands Sunday double at Longchamp with Mise En Boite and Omicrone

ZELZAL enjoyed a productive afternoon at ParisLongchamp on Sunday with a smart double, headed by the 3-year-old colt MISE EN BOITE who captured the Prix d’Argentine (Class 2) over 1,400m. Racing in the colours of his breeder Haras de Saint-Voir and trained by Xavier Blanchet, MISE EN BOITE held off Jusearth Fal by three-quarters of a length under Augustin Madamet to record his second career success.

Later on the card, the 5-year-old mare OMICRONE completed the double in the Prix du Pont au Change (Class 2), also over 1,400m. Ridden by Théo Bachelot for trainer Pierre Groualle, she showed a willing attitude to assert in the final strides, scoring by two lengths for the partnership of François Le Corno, Gérard Augustin-Normand, Hubert Guy and the trainer.
MISE EN BOITE is out of Acclamee, by Acclamation, and was bred by Haras de Saint-Voir.OMICRONE is out of Al Sailiyah, also by Acclamation, and was bred by Al Shaqab Racing and Ecurie de Castillon.
