A winning weekend for Wooded’s young progeny

ASHERAH, by WOODED out of UMM BAB (SEA THE STARS), struck at Dax over the weekend when landing the Prix du Conseil Municipal de la Ville de Dax, a three-year-old contest. Bred by Al Shaqab racing, the filly from the J. Reynier yard scored over 1,400 metres under Valentin Seguy in the silks of Mme Erika Gilliar.

In the same race, WEWILLDANCEAGAIN, a filly by SHOOT (LAWMAN), ran a close third for trainer N. Perret, ridden by Mickaël Forest in the silks of ARGELLA RACING & GIMINI STUD.

On Sunday, WOODROS also got off the mark at La Martinique, taking the Prix des Palétuviers. The two-year-old colt, trained by S. Jousselin and again partnered by Jérémy Moisan, was making just his second start in the colours of Dominique Gombaud-Saintonge. By WOODED out of ROSE PETAL (EXCHANGE RATE), he was bred by Thierry de la Héronnière.
