All eyes were on him, and AL GHADEER maintained his status as a true champion under our colours in his final appearance in France, winning the Prix Haras de Gelos on January 13 in Pau.
Settled at the rear of the field at the start, AL GHADEER swept past his rivals in just a few strides and never had to extend himself under Christophe Soumillon to record an easy victory on his seasonal reappearance, with his ears pricked forward. Warmly applauded on his return to the parade ring, our son of Al Mourtajez is now set to contest the Emir Sword in Doha, aiming to secure an unprecedented third Triple Crown and further etch his name into history. Racing in our colours, the seven-year-old bred by M. Al-Najafi boasts an outstanding record of 14 wins from 15 starts, including 11 Group 1 victories.
