Our homebred ANKARA confirmed the promise of her debut success with a second straight win in the Prix de Chantilly (Class 2) over 2,650 metres at Châteaubriant, remaining undefeated in two starts.
The daughter of Siyouni travelled prominently throughout and took the lead 300 metres from the post. Trained by Henri-François Devin and partnered by Alexis Pouchin, she dug deep in the closing stages to secure a second consecutive victory by a neck. The pair drew eight lengths clear of the third, suggesting ANKARA could have a bright future.
Raised at Haras de Bouquetot, ANKARA is out of Al Anqa, a daughter of Galileo.
Congratulations to the team involved in preparing ANKARA for this performance!
