Armor’s second crop confirms its strength at Group level

ARMOR’s second crop delivered another strong result at ParisLongchamp as ARMOR SUPREME and VALENTINA BELLA finished third and fourth in the Prix d’Arenberg Gr.3 over 1,000 metres.
The pair, already established among the leading juveniles by their sire this season, once again demonstrated the depth of quality within ARMOR’s current two-year-old crop.
ARMOR SUPREME, trained by Diego Dias for Team Valor International, D. Dias and M. Eves, stayed on strongly to secure third place, just three-quarters of a length behind the runner-up. The daughter of Hayaku, by Arch, had already landed the Juvenile Sprint Stakes L. at the Curragh in August, following an earlier win at Goodwood and a Stakes placing at York.
Just behind her, VALENTINA BELLA finished a close fourth for trainer Mathieu Brasme and NB Racing. Bred by the Vitse family out of Quelle Charm, by MEHMAS, the filly had already won twice this season, including a Listed success at Vichy in May, and had also contested Group company at Royal Ascot.
Their latest performances add further weight to the exceptional figures being produced by ARMOR’s second crop.
Across his first two crops, ARMOR remains Europe’s leading second-crop sire by ratio of Blacktype winners to runners, at 9%, ahead of St Mark’s Basilica, Space Blues, Starman, Palace Pier and Victor Ludorum.
Among two-year-olds in 2026, 11% of his runners are Blacktype winners, placing him second among all sires standing in Europe and ahead of his own sire No Nay Never, as well as established names including Dubawi, Wootton Bassett, Lope De Vega, Night Of Thunder and Frankel.
