Our Haras de Bouquetot resident ARMOR made a notable start with his two-year-olds this season as his first juvenile runner of the year became his first winner, underlining the promise of his second crop.
The breakthrough came on April 3 at Saint-Cloud, where AIX LES BAINS, a two-year-old filly out of Valombreuse (Lawman), made a winning debut in the Prix de Chapet over 900 metres. Representing a partnership between Renaud Baguenaud de Puchesse and SAS Racing D and trained by P. Decouz, she showed sharp early speed before drawing clear to score by an impressive 6.5 lengths, immediately marking herself out as a filly of note.
Philippe Decouz and Renaud Baguenaud de Puchesse's homebred filly provided ARMOR with an immediate return from his new crop. Congratulations to her connections!
