Berra, a new winner for Wooded

Berra, Prix Louis de Leusse - Lyon-Parilly - 2 400m

This three-year-old filly, by WOODED out of Changing Skies (Sadler’s Wells), broke her maiden at Lyon-Parilly on Monday, June 23, under Mickael Barzalona in the Prix Louis de Leusse over 2,400 metres.

After a solid break from the stalls, BERRA settled in the first third of the field, adopting a patient ride before making her move approaching the final bend. Taking the lead entering the straight, she was able to hold on strongly to the line.

Bred by Al Shaqab Racing, she ran in the colours of Mr Fedai Kahram and is trained by Alicja Karkosa.
