Classic prospect for ZELZAL

Classic prospect and three winners in a week for our Haras de Bouquetot-based ZELZAL. His three-year-old daughter KNOCK ON remained undefeated on her second start to land the Prix de Vichy ahead of ECTOT’s RUN AHEAD on February, 9 at Cagnes-sur-Mer, France. She became ZEZAL’s sixth individual winner of 2023 and one of the four 3-year-olds to score this season out of his smallest crop produced. ZELZAL also acclaimed a double of scorers on February, 7 at Cagnes-sur-Mer, France with three-year-old DUC DE KENT opening his winning account in eye-catching style over 1,500 meters for breeder Eric Puerari, Mrs G. Henochsberg and Ecurie Ades Hazan. SCEA des Prairies, Thomas and Benoit Jeffroy-bred CAPOBLANCO joined the game when scoring a 1,500 meters handicap race for a first career-success.

Raised at Haras de Bouquetot, our son of TORONADO and AL WAGHAA MORHIB broke his maiden at second asking in the 10,5 furlongs Prix des Coquillages at Pornichet, France. Entrusted to Simone Brogi, he was ridden to victory by Mickael Forest.
