Double success for Wooded and Zelzal at Marseille

In the opening race of the meeting, ZELZANA a three-year-old filly by ZELZAL out of BURSA (FRANKEL) broke her maiden in the Prix Marcel Maschio, a Flat race run over 2,000 metres on standard ground. Ridden by Anthony Crastus, she carried the colours of Olivier Martinelli, trained by Manon Scandella-Lacaille, and bred by Guy Pariente.

WEWILLDANCEAGAIN secured the third victory of her career in the Prix Gris de Gris, run over 1,500 metres on the all-weather track at Marseille-Pont-de-Vivaux. The daughter of WOODED and SHOOT (LAWMAN), trained by Nicolas Perret, was ridden by Coralie Pacaut, carrying the colours of Argella Racing in partnership with Gemini Stud, and bred by Petra Bloodstock Agency.

Later on the same day at Bro Park, SECRET ROYAL, a son of ZELZAL out of ALGTAHH (HIGH CHAPARRAL), struck for trainer Caroline Malmborg, racing in the colours of Royal Racing and bred by Tally-Ho Stud.
