G1 performance for Al Wukair on Arc weekend

AL WUKAIR celebrated a new performance at the highest level on Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend courtesy of LA MEHANA who showed brave to finish third in the G1 Qatar Prix de Royalieu on September, 30 at ParisLongchamp, France, only 15 days after scoring a third-career Listed victory in the Listed Prix des Tourelles. Esteemed by her trainer Jean-Claude Rouget, she was bred by Noir et Or Elevage. Our Haras de Bouquetot-based sire also congratulated three-year-old DREAM WUKAIR who claimed her second-career win on October, 1st at Strasbourg, France for breeders Al Shaqab Racing and Ecurie de Castillon.


Our Haras de Bouquetot-based ECTOT joined the dance with his three-year-old ECTOCROSS who landed his third career-victory overseas at Nottingham on September, 26 for breeder Kempsons Stud.


OLYMPIC GLORY celebrated a double of winners on September, 29 at Saint-Cloud, France with juvenile RUBY IN THE ROCKS crossing the finish line first for Haras du Taillis and AJ Crabb, and OLYMPIC DREAM making dream come true with a third success for breeders Haras de Grandcamp and Ecurie M. Tschopp. Three-year-old SAMBA ended successfully the week when opening her winning account at Saint-Brieuc, France on October, 1st for breeder A. Krauliger.


Haras de Bouquetot’s resident GALILEO GOLD was represented in the USA courtesy of three-year-old NORTH EAST STAR who broke her maiden tag at Santa Anita on September, 30. Our sire was also seen in the winners’ enclosure overseas with Andrew Heffernan-bred RED TRAIL celebrating a fourth success on September, 25 at Down Royal, UK on his seasonal comeback.


ZELZAL was acclaimed at Marseille, France with four-year-old HYGROVE LASS offering a two-lengths victory to her breeder DH Francis on September, 27.


Tally-Ho Stud’s resident MEHMAS applauded winners on both sides of the Channel sea, starting with juvenile DESCARTES who opened his winning account over 1,000 meters at Vichy, France on September, 26 on his second start only for breeder Sherbourne Lodge. In the UK, four-year-olds HIERARCHY and ELETTARIA crossed the finish line first, respectively at Goodwood on September, 27 for Mountain View Stud and Tally-Ho Stud, and at Newcastle on September, 29 for New Line Stud. Last but not least, our three-year-old homebred ALSIMRYA opened her winning account at Angers, France on September, 30, completing a splendid Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend for our colors. Our filly is entrusted to Mikael Delzangles and was ridden to victory by Mlle S. Chuette.
