The 2-year-old son of Le Havre & Group performer Gherdaiya got off the mark at Pau, following up on his runner-up effort on debut a few weeks ago. Trained by Jean-Claude Rouget, GHAWAR was ridden to victory by Hugo Mouesan in the 10f Prix d’Arudy this Saturday. He was raised at Haras de Bouquetot and is a full brother to Listed winner Subahiyah, both of whom, like their dam, have carried the Al Shaqab Racing silks.
