SAFWAN confirmed his consistent progression with a stylish victory in the Thoroughbred Handicap (Class 2, 1400m, Turf) at Al Uqda, registering his fourth career success and remaining unbeaten in two starts this season for the training of Jean de Mieulle.

Bred and raced by Al Shaqab Racing, the son of Wootton Bassett out of Sea The Stars mare Al Mayhola showed class and determination under Pierre-Charles Boudot, quickening smartly to dominate the 12-runner field.
