Jawwal by Wooded strikes again

Trained by V. Luka, JAWWAL scored on Monday in the Prix de la Chapelle Saint-Pierre. The three-year-old gelding, out of AL JOHRAH (BATED BREATH) and by WOODED, was bred by Al Shaqab Racing and recorded the fourth victory of his career under Clément Lecoeuvre.

Breaking sharply from the gates, he soon took control of the race. Settled in front, he never came under threat and drew clear over the 1,000-metre straight on soft ground, carrying the colours of Mr. Jiri Odchazel-Joly.
