Kenzel, a striking juvenile by Zelzal

ZELZAL's Kenzel made an immediate impression on debut, landing the 1,400 metre Prix Sauternes’s at Compiègne in fine style for trainer Christophe Ferland.

The two-year-old colt dictated terms from the outset, travelling strongly at the head of affairs. He quickened smartly in the closing stages to put the race to bed and score with a touch of class.

Ridden by Maxime Guyon, this son of ZELZAL carried the colours of Wertheimer & Frère, representing both their breeding operation and ownership. Congratulations to his connections!
